We have extensively tested various ways of recording from 1.8″ to 2.5″ drive solutions over a period of time.

The technology we have developed is simple, easy and affordable.

Our system consists of: -

  • Express/34 interface
  • Professionally designed 2.5” or 1.8″ SSD recorder
  • Robust and tough mounting kit for the camera

As well, we will be offering our technology in various configurations in regards to SSD drives.

This technology is based on Sony’s already existing USB-2.0 interface implementation.

In terms of recording it records through USB 2.0 protocol like our MXML15 SDHC adapters however, the advantages are: –

  • High capacity hard drive
  • Ability to transfer the footage using USB 2.0 protocol OR eSATA

The hot-swap capability allows a USB SSD recorder to be plugged in or unplugged without turning the system off. The additional eSATA interface will allow up to 3 times faster transfer speed.

Full camera recognition of the SSD recorder upon rebooting the camera.
